Craig Miller is the founder and owner of Artisan Piano. He has been caring for fine pianos in the Atlanta area for over thirty years. In his capacity as a concert technician, Craig has been privileged to work for the world’s most celebrated classical artists. Included on this long list are such revered pianists as Alicia DeLarrocha, Earl Wild, Garrick Ohlsson, Andre Watts, Alfred Brendel, Murray Perahia, and many others.

In addition to being the senior technician for Spivey Hall, Craig serves as the technician for the Schools of Music at both Kennesaw and Clayton State Universities, and provides expert tuning, repair, regulation and voicing for private customers in homes and churches throughout greater Atlanta.

Other services offered include rebuilding of Bechstein, Steinway, and Mason & Hamlin grand pianos, and the customized rebuilding and precision balancing of actions to meet the individual preferences of the owner/player.

If you are considering purchasing a piano, pre-purchase inspections are available, a service we recommend for both new and previously-owned instruments. Expert appraisals and technical evaluations are available for those seeking to sell or insure pianos.
